Radiant power

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009815

The total energy radiated, transmitted, or received per unit time, also known as radiant flux. It quantifies the total rate of flow of radiant energy from a source or onto a surface, without regard to its direction or spectral distribution. Radiant power is symbolized by P, Φ, or Φₑ and is measured in SI units of watts (W).
