Mean mass rate

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007077

The average rate at which mass is transferred or produced over a specified period. This quantity is calculated by dividing the total change in mass by the duration of the observation. It is a fundamental measure in chemical kinetics and physiological processes, expressed in units such as kilograms per second (kg/s) or grams per minute (g/min).
