Mean volume rate

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007082

The average rate at which a volume of substance is transferred, produced, or consumed over a defined time interval. This is calculated by dividing the total volume change by the elapsed time. It is a common measurement in fluid dynamics and biological systems, expressed in units such as liters per second (L/s) or milliliters per minute (mL/min).
