Rate of liquid consumption
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009941
The volume of sample solution that is drawn into the nebulizer and atomizer of an atomic spectrometer per unit of time. This rate influences the efficiency of aerosol generation and transport, thereby affecting the magnitude of the analytical signal. The consumption rate is an adjustable parameter in many systems and is measured in milliliters per minute (mL/min).
