Low sample consumption system
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006782
An analytical instrument setup, particularly in atomic spectrometry, designed to perform measurements using a very small volume of sample. These systems incorporate specialized nebulizers and spray chambers that efficiently transport a high fraction of the sample into the plasma or atomizer. Such systems are defined by their low sample uptake rates, which are often below 100 microliters per minute.
