Analyte transport rate
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000548
The mass of analyte delivered to the plasma in each unit of time in atomic spectrometry with liquid sample introduction. It equals the analyte concentration multiplied by the sample uptake rate and by the fraction of the nebulized sample that survives transport through the spray chamber, so it is a mass flow rather than a velocity.
