Direct amplification
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003247
A type of amplification reaction in which the analyte is itself multiplied and the multiplied analyte is what is finally measured, rather than a different species formed from it. It contrasts with indirect amplification, in which the species measured is a product of the amplification reaction and not the analyte itself.
