Solvent transport rate
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011032
The mass of solvent, both as liquid and as vapour, that reaches an inductively coupled plasma in a given time. It is usually quoted in milligrams per minute or per second. It is only a fraction of the solution uptake rate of the nebulizer, because most of the sprayed liquid is lost to drain in the spray chamber.
