Nanoelectromechanical systems

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007748

Devices that integrate electrical and mechanical components at the nanoscale, exhibiting dimensions generally below 100 nanometers. These systems combine the principles of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) with the unique properties of materials at the nanoscale. They are engineered for applications requiring high sensitivity, low power consumption, and precise control, such as advanced sensors or actuators.
