Nanoelectrode

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007747

An electrode with at least one dimension on the nanometer scale, typically less than 100 nanometers. This small size allows for measurements in very small volumes and at high spatial resolution. Nanoelectrodes exhibit unique electrochemical properties compared to conventional electrodes, such as enhanced mass transport rates.
