Nanosphere

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007761

A nano-object with three external dimensions in the nanoscale, possessing a spherical or spheroidal shape. These particles are solid throughout their volume, which distinguishes them from hollow structures like nanocapsules. Nanospheres are frequently prepared from natural or synthetic polymers and are used in applications such as drug delivery systems, diagnostic assays, and as additives in advanced composite materials.
