Electromagnetic field responsive polymer

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003695

A polymeric material whose physical or chemical properties can be reversibly altered by the application of an external electromagnetic field. This responsiveness can manifest as changes in shape, volume, conductivity, or optical properties. Such polymers are being developed for applications in sensors, actuators, and drug delivery systems.
