External field
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004267
A physical field, such as an electric, magnetic, or flow field, applied to a system from outside its boundaries. This field can influence the behavior, orientation, or aggregation of macromolecules and colloidal particles within a polymer solution or melt. It is often used to induce structural changes or direct assembly processes.
