Magnetoresistance
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006917
The phenomenon where the electrical resistance of a material changes when an external magnetic field is applied. This effect can be positive or negative, depending on the material and the field orientation. It is quantified by the ratio of the change in resistance to the resistance without a magnetic field.
