Nanoelectronics
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007749
The field of electronics concerned with the design and fabrication of electronic components and systems with characteristic dimensions in the nanometer range. This area explores the quantum mechanical properties of materials at this scale to create novel devices. Polymers are increasingly used as dielectrics, conductors, and active layers in nanoelectronic devices.
