Cost per mille (CPM), also known as cost per thousand, is a common metric in advertising and marketing that represents the cost an advertiser pays for one thousand views or impressions of an advertisement. It is a standard measure for pricing web advertisements. CPM is often used for brand awareness campaigns where the goal is to maximize exposure.
