Digital Visual Interface, a video display interface developed to maximize the visual quality of digital display devices such as flat-panel LCD monitors and digital projectors. It transmits uncompressed digital video data from a source device to a display controller. DVI supports both digital and analog video signals, with common connectors including DVI-D (digital only) and DVI-I (integrated digital and analog).
