MANET

A mobile ad hoc network, which is a self-configuring network of mobile devices connected by wireless links without a fixed infrastructure. Each device in the network acts as a router, forwarding data packets for other devices. MANETs are often used in scenarios where a fixed infrastructure is unavailable or impractical, such as disaster relief or military operations.
