Motherboard

The main printed circuit board (PCB) in a general-purpose computer, holding and allowing communication between many of the electronic components of a system. It contains the central processing unit socket, memory slots, and expansion slots for graphics cards or other peripherals. The motherboard's form factor, such as ATX or Micro-ATX, determines the physical dimensions and layout of the board.
