A Dual In-line Memory Module, a circuit board containing dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) integrated circuits. These modules are installed into slots on a computer's motherboard to provide the system with main memory. Modern DIMMs for desktop computers typically have 288 pins and support DDR4 or DDR5 memory.
