Memory module

A printed circuit board containing integrated circuits for random-access memory (RAM), designed to be installed into a computer's motherboard. These modules provide the working memory for the central processing unit to store and retrieve data quickly during operation. Common types include DIMMs (Dual In-line Memory Modules) for desktop computers and SODIMMs (Small Outline Dual In-line Memory Modules) for laptops.
