A memory standard for synchronous dynamic random-access memory that succeeded DDR3. Double Data Rate 4 (DDR4) SDRAM achieves higher module density and lower voltage requirements, operating at 1.2V. This standard introduces a new command/address bus architecture and supports data transfer rates starting at 2133 MT/s, with official specifications reaching up to 3200 MT/s.
