Network topology

The arrangement of the elements (links, nodes, etc.) of a communication network, describing how devices are connected and how data flows between them. It can be physical, showing the actual layout of cables, or logical, illustrating how data is transmitted. Common topologies include bus, star, ring, and mesh configurations, each with different performance and reliability characteristics.
