Mesh Wi-Fi
Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000739
A network topology where multiple Wi-Fi access points work together to form a single, extended network, providing coverage over a larger area than a single router. Each node in the mesh communicates with others, creating a distributed network that can automatically re-route data if one node fails or experiences interference. These systems often use a dedicated wireless backhaul to maintain high performance.
