NNTP

An application protocol used for reading, posting, and archiving Usenet newsgroup articles. It facilitates the distribution of news articles from news servers to client applications, and between news servers themselves. NNTP typically uses TCP port 119 for unencrypted connections and port 563 for encrypted connections.
