A cyberattack technique that redirects users from legitimate websites to fraudulent ones without their knowledge or consent. This is often achieved by manipulating Domain Name System (DNS) server settings or altering a user's host file. The goal is to trick users into revealing sensitive information, similar to phishing but without requiring a malicious link click.
