Race condition

A situation in concurrent programming where the outcome of a program depends on the unpredictable relative timing of multiple threads or processes. This occurs when multiple operations attempt to access and modify shared data simultaneously. Race conditions can lead to unexpected behavior, data corruption, or system crashes.
