Multithreading
Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000789
A programming technique that allows different parts of a program to run concurrently as independent sequences of instructions, known as threads, within a single process. Threads share the same memory space and resources of their parent process, enabling more efficient use of CPU cores and improved responsiveness in applications. This differs from multiprocessing, where multiple processes run independently.
