Hypervisor

Software that creates and runs virtual machines, allowing multiple operating systems to share a single physical hardware platform. It manages the allocation of hardware resources, such as CPU, memory, and storage, to each virtual machine. Type 1 hypervisors run directly on the hardware, while Type 2 run on top of an existing operating system.
