Quad-core

Describing a processor that contains four independent processing units, called cores, on a single integrated circuit. Each core can execute its own set of instructions, allowing the processor to handle multiple tasks concurrently or to work on different parts of a single complex task in parallel. A quad-core processor is distinct from a dual-core processor, which has two cores, and an octa-core processor, which has eight.
