Multiprocessing

The ability of a system to execute multiple processes or programs concurrently using more than one central processing unit (CPU) or CPU core. This allows for the simultaneous execution of different parts of a program or entirely separate programs, enhancing computational throughput. Multiprocessing systems can be symmetric, where all processors are equal, or asymmetric, where processors have specialized roles.
