TLS

A cryptographic protocol designed to provide secure communication over a computer network. It encrypts the data exchanged between a client and a server, authenticates the communicating parties, and verifies data integrity. TLS is the successor to Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and is widely used for securing web browsing, email, and other data transfers.
