A unit of digital information storage representing 2 to the power of 70, or 1,208,925,819,614,629,174,706,176, bytes. The zebibyte is a standard unit defined by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) to unambiguously specify quantities of data using binary multiples, which are common in computing contexts like memory addressing. This unit is closely related to the zettabyte (ZB), which is defined by the International System of Units (SI) as 10 to the power of 21 bytes, a difference of about 18%.
