Mebibyte

A unit of digital information storage equal to 2 to the power of 20, or 1,048,576, bytes. The mebibyte (MiB) is a binary prefix unit established by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) to unambiguously quantify byte multiples in powers of two. It is closely related to the megabyte (MB), which is defined by SI standards as 10 to the power of 6, or 1,000,000, bytes.
