Overlay

An overlay in American FactFinder is a window that displays on top of the main FactFinder window. The overlays in FactFinder include the search overlays for selecting Geography, Population Groups, and Industry Codes, as well as overlays that request information or confirmation, such as the Feedback overlay or the Download overlay.
Overlays can be closed by clicking the close icon in the upper right corner of the overlay.
