1. A corrosive solution with a pH less than 7. Vinegar is a common weak acid; battery acid is much stronger.
2. Any of a large group of chemicals with a pH less than 7. Examples are battery acid, lemon juice, and vinegar.
3. A solution that has a pH value lower than 7.
4. A corrosive solution with a pH less than 7.
5. A solution that has an excess of hydrogen ions (H+), with a pH of less than 7.
