Deterministic Causation

Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-007816

1. Natural determinism is the position that the state of a system can, in principle, be fully explained by its state at the prior instant and knowledge of natural laws.

2. Causal determinism holds that the cause always induces the effect in appropriate conditions. However, because causation may be complex and nonlinear, causal determinism does not necessarily imply predictability.
