Regularity

Where and when the cause occurs, the effect always occurs. This definition is now usually modified by requiring that conditions be appropriate. This concept is also known as regularist causation or regularity theory. That is, the cause is regularly associated with the effect. However, association is a property of causation in a case, while regular association is a property of general causation.
