Sour gas

Any gas that contains significant concentrations of hydrogen sulfide. Sour gas may include untreated fuel gas, amine stripper off-gas, or sour water stripper gas.Sour natural gas means natural gas that contains significant concentrations of hydrogen sulfide (H2S)and/or carbon dioxide (CO2) that exceed the concentrations specified for commercially saleable natural gas delivered from transmission and distribution pipelines.
