Toxic chemical

1. Substances that can cause severe illness, poisoning, birth defects, disease, or death when ingested, inhaled, or absorbed by living organisms.

2. Any chemical listed in EPA rules as "Toxic Chemicals Subject to Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986."

3. A chemical that can produce injury if inhaled, swallowed, or absorbed through the skin.

4. A chemical or chemical category listed in § 372.65.
