Blind spot

An area around a train or other railway equipment that is not visible to the operator, either directly or through mirrors. These obscured zones pose a hazard to workers and pedestrians on or near the tracks. Operators must be aware of these areas and take precautions, such as sounding a horn, before moving equipment.
