A Blind Spot Information System, which is a driver-assistance feature that detects vehicles in the driver's blind spots. It typically uses radar or camera sensors mounted on the sides or rear of the vehicle to monitor adjacent lanes. When a vehicle is detected in the blind spot, the system alerts the driver with a visual indicator, such as a light in the side mirror.
