Boat lift

A mechanical system designed to raise a boat out of the water for storage, maintenance, or transfer between different water levels. It consists of a frame, slings or bunks, and a hoisting mechanism powered by electric motors or hydraulics. Boat lifts protect hulls from marine growth and reduce wear from constant water exposure.
