Bottle house

A building constructed using glass bottles as the primary masonry units, either whole or cut. The bottles are laid in courses with mortar, similar to bricks, with their bottoms facing outward to create a wall with a textured, translucent appearance. This construction method is a form of vernacular architecture that repurposes waste materials, with notable examples found in North America dating to the early 20th century.
