Bourbon rose

A class of garden roses originating from Île Bourbon (now Réunion) in the Indian Ocean, characterized by their full, cupped blooms and strong fragrance. These roses are repeat-flowering and exhibit a bushy, arching growth habit. Many modern rose varieties have Bourbon roses in their lineage.
