Budding

A horticultural technique of asexual plant propagation where a single bud from one plant (the scion) is inserted into the bark of another plant (the rootstock). This method allows for the combination of desirable traits from two different plants, such as disease resistance from the rootstock and fruit quality from the scion. It is widely used for fruit trees and roses.
