Bucket brigade
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-000814
A type of analog delay line circuit, specifically a Bucket-Brigade Device (BBD), that stores and transfers analog signal samples sequentially through a series of capacitors and switches. Each capacitor holds a charge representing a sample, which is then passed to the next capacitor in the chain. This creates a time delay, commonly used in audio effects like chorus and flanger.
