Bush

A cylindrical lining or sleeve inserted into a housing to provide a bearing surface for a rotating or sliding shaft on farm machinery. It reduces friction, constrains motion, and absorbs wear between moving parts, protecting more expensive components from damage. Bushings are made from materials like bronze, brass, plastic, or composite materials, selected based on the load, speed, and operating environment of the application.
