Ball bearing
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-000397
A type of rolling-element bearing that reduces rotational friction and supports radial and axial loads. It achieves this by using spherical balls between two concentric rings, or races, to maintain the separation between moving parts. Ball bearings are widely used in applications ranging from skateboards to industrial machinery, with standard sizes defined by ISO 15.
