Coulomb's law
Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-001380
A fundamental law in electromagnetism that quantifies the force between two stationary, electrically charged particles. It states that the magnitude of the electrostatic force is directly proportional to the product of the magnitudes of the charges and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. The force can be attractive or repulsive, depending on the signs of the charges.
